I Would Walk With You

I would walk with you a long, long time
If you should choose to pace your steps with mine.
And when you cannot see how beautiful you are,
Look for the truth within my eyes.

When the world is hard and weariness should claim you,
Come lay your heavy head upon my shoulder.
And when you need a friend,
I'll smile for you the way you smile for me,
And trust will set us free.

All the songs I sing have harmonies just right for you,
And all the notes are strong and clear,
And every song I never sang,
I'll sing them all for you, if you will only keep me near.
I'm always here.
